Many European and American people can think Kimchi is Japanese Food, But If you think like that, then you're wrong.
Kimchi is Korean traditional food. It has lot's of history.
North Korean Kimchi is not salty and spicy.
It's White and watery. For example, Dong Chi Me.

In South Korea, It's more spicy and salty than North Korea And there are Bea-Chu Kimchi, Chong-Guk Kimchi, Yoel-Mu Kimchi etc.
There are more than 100 kinds of Kimchi in Both North and South Korea.
And My mom made some Kimchi and It's spicy and salty.

Making Kimchi.
1. Making Pickle with some Chineses cabbage for 12 hours.
2. Making Sauce (Chilli Powder, salted shrimp, salted fish sauce, garlic, glutinous rice sauce, chopping radish, etc... )
3. And Mix them together And put in the Korean traditional jar.
